You just open the Freemake app, click on the URL of the webpage streaming the video, and it does the job. (I hardly ever use RealPlayer or DownloadHelper anymore.) It's called "Freemake Video Downloader." It operates independently of any particular browser. There's a really good one that I use almost all the time now. You just click on it and it's done.īeyond that, there are lots of freeware download software that you can get off the internet and install. It's permanently installed on the Firefox browser page, and it's always active when a video is playing. I think that one of the best is an addon in Firefox called "DownloadHelper" that's just great. Anyway, a fresh installation of either RealPlayer or Realdownloader might help.
RealPlayer also has a "Realdownloader" software option that you can download and install that just gives you the download capability without the RealPlayer video player. Even when the box doesn't show up, sometimes you can right click and a menu will drop down that gives you the RealPlayer download option. There are settings in RealPlayer that govern when and how the "Download in Realplayer" box comes up.
